Compassionate Communication is a method of communicating based on the book “Nonviolent Communication – A Language of Life” by Marshall B. Rosenberg. Instead of judging, demanding, comparing and diagnosing, this method of communication helps the learner to resolve conflicts with more ease, hear the needs of others more clearly and strengthen personal and professional relationships.

We observe what we see and hear, we name our feelings, address our needs and request that which would enrich our life. This is a language which takes note of what is alive in us and what we need. It is without blame and its intention is to make life more wonderful for everyone.

When we use Nonviolent Communications, we learn to listen empathetically to those around us, listening for their feelings and needs and validating what they say.

It is a language of compassion and an honest way of communicating what is in our heart. It empowers us to speak our truth without fear.
